Spain will bring back the mandatory use of masks outdoors, it emerged today. Government sources revealed that President Pedro Sánchez held an online meeting with regional leaders today to discuss joint measures to tackle the dizzying rise in infections in recent days.
After discussing the use of masks outdoors, an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers is expected to meet tomorrow (Thursday) to approve the new measures. This extraordinary meeting was called a few days ago, when the Government and the Autonomous Communities were alerted to the worrying new health data.
