Sport for all

Torrevieja town hall has launched a comprehensive programme of free fitness events for winter. The activities began at the weekend and continue right through to December.
The programme is called “Sport and Health for All” and was presented by Councillor for Sport Diana Box alongside the manager of Vive Fit, Verónica Pedrosa
The programme is a series of sports activities, completely free of charge, that will take place outdoors in places such as the natural pools of Paseo Juan Aparicio, the pedestrian streets of the town center, the Plaza de Encarnación Puchol de La Mata, the Paseo Vista Alegre, the Plaza de the Constitution as well as the Park of Nations.
The activities are aimed at people with different abilities and include zumba, pilates, salsa-bachata, fitness, jumping, gluteboom, yoga, spinning, and more.
Councillor Box said that the programme is designed to be enjoyed by young and old, as a family, as a couple or an individual. The aim, said Box is to “reactivate the socialization of sport in pleasant open-air environments, as well as to boost commerce and hospitality in the environments where they will take place.”
